Need help with removing gov. on 95 camaro z28

Looking for the easiest way to remove the gov. on my 95 camaro... I have a brand new engine in it that i know hows a lot more power then a stock engine and would like to see what it can do with the removal of the gov.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and kinda an ideal of price to have it done. or do it myself.

If you have a laptop (pc preferrably running XP) get LT1Edit or TunerCat with a cable then set the speed your self. You'll probably want this anyway if you want to get max out of the new engine. Do a search on LT1Edit in the Computer seciton of the forums.

You can also send your computer away to be reprogrammed. They can do a lot of stuff for a reasonable price...

If you learn to use tunerpro you can do it yourself for free with the 30 day trial of winflash (I bought it, great program)

With the limited understanding of the advice offered so far, you would be better off sending you PCM to one of the "mail order" tuners listed in our Supporting Vendors area. If you've modified the engine to make more power (although you haven't told us what those mods are) you need the PCM tuned anyway.

Another alternative would be to find a used Hypertech Power Programmer. They are not useful at all for "tuning", but would allow you to change the top speed limiter in the PCM, change the rev limiter, fan on/off temps, rear axle ratio, tire diameter, shift points (if you have an A4), etc.
