need help with removing fuel lines

i was looking at the street illusion cam install page to see the best way to remove the intake. i noticed that my fuel lines are not equiped with the speedy connection adapter.

instead i have a circular shaped metal piece, which the fuel line disconnect tool does not fit. does anyone else have this type of fastner, if so how do you remove it.

You dont even need to disconnect them. Move the wire harness around to the back of the intake manifold, and pull the entire fuel rail. You will have more than enough room to get the intake off, with the fuel lines still connected. This works on all years 93, and 94-97, been there done that

Don't know why yours would be different from everyone else's. Is it modified from stock?
