Need help quick! Lifting power steering out of the way

I've just about got the second head off, there is just one bolt holding the accesory mounting bracket left to get off, but the power steering pulley thing is in the way. I know you are supposed to "lift" it out of the way, but I can't seems to do it. Do you need to disconnect the two lines going into it?

There is no a/c in the way of the bolts from the accy bracket into the RH head. P/s maybe. Just unbolt it.

You have to take the lines off to get the power steering pump off. Like shoebox said, make sure the pump is unbolted first. You can do this by rotating the pulley and sticking the socket through the hole to get access to the bolts. I think they are 10mm and you will need an extension. Not insulting your intelligence here, just making sure you did those things first.

Yeah, I figured out how to unbolt the thing. Is fluid going to come shooting out all over the place when I do this? And will I be able to just fill it back up when I'm done?

I misunderstood what you were saying. Fluid shouldn't shoot everywhere. Some will leak out the hoses when you take them off but it won't spray all over the place. Just keep some rags under it and you'll be fine.

You shouldn't have to take ps completely off, just unbolt it and it will move enough.

and you should definately not need to take the ac completely off either. when we did mine we left the metal tubing connected and just lifted the drivers side up and there was room to remove the cam, if thats what you're trying to do.

You are probably going to need a claw puller or a crankshaft hub remover. Autozone loans them out.
