Need Help...Lets get this over with...

I'm about to order my Valvetrain parts...

and was wondering what to get exactly.

I'm interested in Non self aligning Pro Mags...

7/16
or
3/8th which is more ideal?

When switching from Self aligning to Non self aligning what do I need exactly.

Do the Promags come with locks?

What I'm getting, and what I recommend:

Comp Cams Pro Mags, 1.6RR's, 7/16" studs, NSA
Comp Cams or ARP 7/16" studs
Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods
GM Guideplates
LT4 Springs
LT4 Spring Retainers
LT4 Spring Locks
Valve Cover Gaskets
Spring Compressor, if you can't borrow or rent one

Ditto what Dan said if you are running a stock cam. If you are going
with anything over .500" lift, you have lots of options for valvesprings.
The LT4 springs are a good value even if you end up swapping them out
later. If you are feeling experimental, I have stuff that's right up your
alley on the parts for sale board. Just search for my user name.

Valve seals are your option. If I had oil loss between oil changes, I would change them for sure. Or if I had over 100,000 miles just for preventative maintanence.

I get NO (at least that I can tell) oil loss over 4000-5000 miles, so I'm leaving well enough alone. My engine only has 68,000 miles, and I will most likely do a cam in the future. When that happens, I will most likely be changing valve springs again and will consider seals at that point.
