Need help kinda fast got to pass inspection

My turn signal arm broke off out of the steerign column, we looked at it and there is something in there I can flip up and down but there are 2 brackets that hold another piece in and the bottom one broke just wondering what part it was cause we went to a dealership adn the part he showed us didnt look like anythign we needed and then he had us take a look at every part in the steering column and we coudlnt figure it out, second do i have to mess with the steerign wheel adn stuff to fix this I dont want to mess with air bags...

You will have to remove the steering wheel to replace this.
Airbags are not hard to deal with, just make sure you disconnect the power from them and let em sit for 20 minutes or so.
I don,t have a part number right off hand but I will take a look in my parts book and see if I can come up with something, If not I am sure the Shoebox can.

So the stalk broke but the switch is still good?
I think I can get you the part #s you need but I am only gonna post what I think it is if Shoebox does not post it.
He can read the damn manual better than me, like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

We need to know if your switch is still good, then all you would need is a new lever. I still think you will have to remove the steering wheel to install it though.
Originally I thought your switch was broken but I think you just snapped the lever off, your switch should still be good I would think. Less work if the switch is still good.

Yeah I can reach in there and flip a switch up and down which makes the turn signals work but yeah the arm broke off and there is some thing that came off that connects to the cruise control switch on the arm and is held on now by some wires its what the arm slides into.... so that cam off and the arm fell out I cant turn my brights off either cause of it.

Cool

Mine broke to.I used JB weld epoxy (once everything is in position)for a quick fix.I was going to get the whole thing replaced, but hey,it's been working great for 6 months now,so when it breaks again,I'll take it to the dealer and get it fixed right.
Glue everything (top and bottom of the thing that holds the signal lever in place.
Let it sit for a day.
Put more epoxy on everything broken again,as to double strengthen it
Might have to take a emory board to saw away some of the plastic on the column a little bit if the signal handle is too loose.
Of course.do this at your own risk. This is just what I've done and it saved me some bucks for now.Hope this helps.
Be careful not to use too much epoxy,as it can clogg the high beam capability of the turn signal handle.My02
