Just got done installing my new oil pump and pan gasket and took it out for a test drive,Oil pressure is great and no leaks but it idles real real hard now like i have one bad a$$ cam in it the whole car is vibrating. I replaced the pump in the car by removing the left motor mount bolt lowering the cross member and jacking the motor up by the crank with a 2x4. Is it possible i could have broken the bell housing on the transmission,damaged the crank,broke the u-joints on the driveshaft,bent the frame ??(i have sub frame connectors in )by jacking it up to high??

HELP!!!!!!!!

You jacked it up from the Harmonic Balancer? If so then you broke that.

 

I doubt that........He did'nt jack the CAR up with it, just the engine.



I would check the plug wires. You were messing with a bunch of stuff down there, and could have fudged one (or two) up What all did you disconnect? That info would be very beneificial in helping you out.

 

didn't touch the plug wires i forgot to add that it only idles hard when it's in drive in park it feels fine as for what i disconnected battery leads,starter,y pipe,lowered the k-member and dropped the pan
