I have a 97 camaro z28 and the engine light came on so I went to autozone and all they could tell me is my car has multiple miss fires, and it does hesitate, and a lose of power. Could this be the opti-spark, or something else. In anycase I could really use any help on how to fix this. Thank you

 

First try the plugs and wires. Then maybe the coil or ingition control module right behind it before you go and tackle the opti. Make sure you are getting spark and fuel to all 8 cylinders before going after the big stuff. Thats a good place to at least start.
