Need help finding a !CAGS diagram
There was a diagram I saw posted a while back which had a picture of what wires needed to be disconnected from the ECM in order to do the !CAGS mod for free. The diagram was just a picture of the ECM with text over it, and highlighted teh specific wires that were used.
Does anyone know where I can find this? I've been searching and cant seem to come across it.
Thanks

Personally, I'd much rather just pull the harness plug off the solenoid than go poking around in the PCM connectors. Takes 5 minutes.

also, doing it that way will cause you to fail emmisions if you have obd2 and you get tested by the scanner... just a thought

When you do this with OBD-I, you will get DTC 84 set in the PCM, but no SES light. On OBD-II, you get the code and the SES light.
The way to avoid the code is to buy a "skip shift eliminator" for $15-30..... or buy a 2.2Kohm 1/2watt resistor at Radio Shack, and puch the resistor wires into the harness connector before you tape it up. Having the code set doesn't hurt anything... I drove for 5 years with the connector unplugged.

My T56 has been gone for two years, and I still have the "skip shift" light coming on...... Sort of compliments the "AIRBAG" and "ABS INOP" lights..... gives the instrument cluster a more "balanced" look........... At least I cut the wire to the SES light.

Well I used the Radio Shack version and been on there a year, works great. Light still comes on but never notice it.

So all i would have to do to eliminate CAGS is unplug it, tape it to the harness so it aint just hangin there , and go? I have a 95 so its OBD-I , So it would store a code but no light... But if i do that , will the skip shift light stick on or anything? Does it affect anything else ?
