need help connecting hoses, and how to get injector rails down?
i have pictures with edits on them on where to connect hoses for the throttle body. i wont get to do any runs this weekend like i had hoped cause i cant get the water pump in time. the pics are here. also how do i get the rear side of the injector rail down?
Re: need help connecting hoses, and how to get injector rails down?
Start with one side of the fuel rails, fitting all 4 injectors into the intake manifold bores and pressing it down, then go to the opposite side of the engine and line up the other 4 injectors and press that side home.
Possibly the rear of the rails is caught on something??

It helps to put a little lube on the o-rings. The problem is that they are "angled" toward the center, so you can't force both sides in at the same time. Its easier to work one side at a time, at least from the times I've done it.

i tried slipping them in with the orings on the injectors it doesnt work. there is no way it will go down. nothing is getting caught
