Need Help With Codes

I SCANNED MY 1996 CAMARO Z28 W/113K MILES. CODES IT READ--
1.P0300-ENGINE MISFIRE DETECTED.
2.P0400-EGR SYSTEM
3.P1371-DISTRIBUTOR INGNITION (DI) LOW RESOLUTION CURRENT
4.P1870-TRANS. COMPONENT SLIPPING

i DONT KNOW WHAT CODES "3-4" MEAN AND HOW TO FIX THEM. HELP!!!

#3 means that your opti-spark is going out, kuz you are geting a low current.... the optispark is called a distributor, and it could be causing your misfire. If your optispark is going out id make a good bet that it wont last much longer.

#4 means that something in your transmission is slipping...

It isn't unusual for the code to show up for loss of the low res pulse (not current) from the Opti. I think it may set when the PCM has a hard time finding the signal on startup. Clear it and see how soon it comes back. If the code was active, the engine would not be running.
