Need help..car won't start!

I just changed my opti...it came apart from the 2 main screws that hold it together....in less than a year! I put everything back together. I went to start it...battery was dead....i jumped it off. It started right up.....ran great! Drove it for about 30 mins.....turned it off to fill up the radiator some more.....battery was dead....sure no problem. Had it tested....it was pretty old....it came back no good! Easy enough so I put a brand new one on. I turn the key on...push in the clutch...the fuel pump turns on,dash lights come on....not a sound/click/interference!

I have checked for starter relays,fuses....couldn't find any? cheked all other fuses for the hell of it. all i didat this point was change the stupid battery???

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Are you sure you have a tight connection at your battery? Is your security light on?

have a helper turn the key while you use a test light and check for voltage at the s terminal at the starter. its the small one closest to the block.

yes you could have ignition switch issues. you could have clutch interlock issues, you could have neutral safety switch issues. security issues. turn the key to run and using test leads or a remote start switch-jump power to the s terminal and see if it starts up. take it out of gear or make sure its in park. then at least you know it will start with the battery/connections that you have. after that you need to start backprobing the harness and see where the start signal is getting lost. no security light? is it an automatic or a manual??
