Possible problem with the pre-cat oxygen sensor on the driver's side. Could also be O2 harness problem.

Slow switching of an O2 sensor is usually caused by the sensor itself, typically due to contamination.

I had the same code a while back with BRAND NEW acdelco o2 sensors. The code can also be cause by an exhaust leak. I had a small leak because the band clamp on the header collector wasnt tight enough and the sensors itself were also loose.

After I tightened everything up, it went away.

I do see a pretty big hole right before the muffler. But its been there for a while and it hasnt thrown a code. Could this be the problem still?

Exhaust leaks AFTER the sensor will no affect it, and will not "throw" a code. Exhaust leaks before the sensor can cause a "false" lean condition. Not sure why that would cause slow switching, though.

ok so it can either be an exhaust leak before the sensor or the sensor itself?

Yes. I have 2 almost new Delco O2's if you need them. $30 shipped for both. My car was tuned in open loop so I no longer have any type of oxygen sensor any longer

Make sure the sensors are tight in the bung, but really if you are running stok manifolds and y then it shouldnt leak if in good shape. If running aftermarket, take a look near the slip fit connecion and make sure all is tight
