Need help, car keeps dieing!

Ok first of all, latetly my car is been RPM hunting when off the GAS, like 500-1200 while cruising & alwalys wanting to stall, I don't drive my car much but it started doing it anyways, yesterday when it died it showed these codes:

16,41,42,51

HELP!

41&42 is EST open, wtf is that!

Its a new opti too

16,41,42,51


16: Low resolution pulse - ignition is not detecting the low resolution ( 4 pulses per crankshaft revolution)

41: No ignition control circuit - Check DI ignition system. Open circuit from distributor.

42: Ignition control circuit- Check the wiring and connectors between the ignition module and the ECM/PCM. Replace the ignition module. Replace the ECM/PCM.

51: PROM/EEPROM erro- Faulty or incorrect PROM/EEPROM. Diagnosis should be performed by a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop.

Have you double checked your opti install? Also, it has been known to recieve a bad new opti. I would trace the wires and make sure none are f'd up or not connected.


Also, you can check to see if your PCM is f'd up by letting the car idle then go out pop the hood and tap on the PCM gently and see if the revs change any.
