need help with canton pan
need help with canton pan
I just got my headers today after waiting a long time. I've had the engine sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks. Anyways, it has a canton road race pan an the guy that built the engine daid something about having to put spacers between the motormounts so the front of the pan wouldnt hit the steering cylinder (which it does b/c I tried without the spacers first). I was wonderg ho do you put spacers under it. The mounts are at an angle and if you put spacers on then the holes won't line up. I've done a search and didn't find anything. I was wondering if anyone out there can help me?????????
Someone has got to have had this problem before. How do i fix it. I'm kinda in a hurry to get this car finished. I still need to put the transmission in and the rear end. Why did canton even make this pan knowing that it hits.
Is it ok if it just barley touches or will it rub a hole in the pan???
need help ASAP
