hey I have a 94 z28 M6 with 54k miles and its been missing at high rpms so i thought ill do a tune up and this is what i got:

-splitfire wires (free from my dads work)
-splitfire plugs unless anyone tells me i should get different ones.
-coil (what brand should i get)

anything else i need?
like cap and rotor?

Try to change plugs/wires first since it's time for tuneup. Not shure whether your problem will be fixed after it. But it's a best bet. Then dig deeper... Get it scanned...
There is no much difference between different brands, if you can get wires free - go for it. The only big difference - between good and burnt and/or old wires. For plugs, personally I like NGK TR55 - they are very good quality and also cheap. Beware of cheap platinum plugs - your gap may accidently increase in these...
