Smile Need engine build suggesfions

So i put a rod through the. Block of my lt1. Im now going to have a motor built and i was wondering where you guys would suggest to get it from i need a good warranty and i also what u all would suggest for ideas the car is gonna be a daily driven street/strip car. I have a built 4l60e already in the car rated to about 550-600 hp. I want to have about 400 horse and be able to run nitrous. At most a 150 shot wet. I wantsomething reliable and with DECENT gas mileage. Any suggestions are appreciated. I was tbinking a 383 stroker or 355 and an lt4 intake idk wut heads

"400 horse" at the flywheel, or at the rear wheels?

"lt4 intake and edelbrock heads" would not be a good choice.... but then that depends where you want the 400 HP.

Prefferably rwhp but at the crank is cool. I think 400 crank would be like 330 whp?

Re use the stock crank, get new rods and pistons, build a 355. Have the stock heads ported and then spray it.

I would check out these sites.

http://www.golenengineservice.com/html/lt1_lt4.html

http://www.victoryracingengines.com/...TX&BLOCK=SHORT

http://www.ellweinengines.com/

If you are looking for a warranty I would go with golen. Also if you go with golen you can get LE heads. Ellwein has AI heads. And i don't know about VRE. Hope this helps.

No one will uphold a warranty if you spray it.

I made 400rwhp N/A with a LE2 cam and custom heads with all the bolt ons.

I built it with the help of some friends. You will save a ton of money that way. I have a for sale ad here that had a list of all the parts.

Then be ready to spend some money. If you don't pay someone to complete the project beginning to end, then a warranty can easily be denied based on incorrect installation among other things. I'd stick to one of the sponsors here.
