Need an elbow for the intake whats better?

You prolly know my story. I am slowly buying parts that the guy stole from me. Jegs has a polished elbow for $69 and Grantelli has one for $77. What would you guys choose. It's going on an FPIK K&N cold air system.

Do they sell the wiring also that goes into the intake elbow? How much is that? I'm guessing through GM.

A better choice is the 1LE elbow from GM. Rubber so there is no heat soaking of the incoming air, no giant resonator tube hanging down either.

The wiring on the tube is for the IAT. Go to Shoebox's page and look at his list of part numbers for the wiring pigtail you need...then splice it in an you're off.

I agree. Plastic or rubber would be my choice too. TrickFlow makes one and the plastic is very similiar to the plastic that is used on the K&N FIPK. Nice uniform look all while keeping air a little bit cooler

Also try this website. Silocone is cheaper and just as effective. A guy shot me this link when I had this question about 2 months ago.

I need play in it. When I rev my car lightly the car and the motor tilts to the right. Will the elbow slowly pop off where the intake is? I know the stock one is a nightmare. Thanks for the help, means a lot.
