Need to decide on 4.10!!
I have hear that the 4.10 give you a great SOTP feel and is great 1-3 but tend to not pull in 4th. Considering the Mods i have will and having a M6 my 4th gear actually be slower if i do the 4.10? And either way is it worth doing over stock 3.42?

4.10S over 3.42 provide about 20% increase in torque. You will spend more time in 5th than 4th, and 6th OD becomes something more than useless.
Is it worth it? Depends. It is hard to hook up with the additional torque, but so is 3.42.
I went with the 4.10s on my 97SS and I like them and glad I did it.
I believe that the 3.42s were too high for the M-6 to begin with.

You have the mods to support it, but 4.10's make your broad power band too narrow.
I would personally go with 3.73's, we had 4.10 on my brother Z, it was too much and we could get it too hook.
If your mostly a street car, then I guess you could, but if you like good times at the track, i would stay away from them.
1.) 1st is useless, and just way to narrow. You will easily smoke your tires.
2.) 3rd gear is awesome, but way too short.
3.) 4th gear becomes your top end pull, but you will have to go to 5th on some street races.
4.) You run out of gear to quick, and must rely on 5th gear to pull along high mph. Not good
5.) If you get any decent tires with those gears, you will break them easily if you stall in the line.
