Dyno results are in!!!

406HP, 382TQ. I'm impressed. Went from 276/263 to 406/382 with just the S/C.

your torque was 263? and its not even over 400 with the S/C? not tryin to bust your bubble...you got great power but that tq sounds wayyyyyyy off. Especially 263. I have no internals or even headers and I hit 330 on tq. My other six dyno runs were consistently in the 320s

Your torque readings are kind of low, your car stock should put down 285-300lb of torque.

I thought it was low as well. I'll take it though. Gaining 130hp, and 119tq is ok in my book. Do you guys have an M6 or A4?

Mine is an A4 stock converter so no converter flash. My torque curve was real nice. With my limied number of mods it even surprised the guy that dynoed my car. His '95 TA was like in the 305-315 range when he had about the same mods. I think my Hooker cat-back should take some of the credit. Hooker claims it acts much like a stepped header design to increase tq much better than the competition. Most cat-backs have an adverse effect on low-mid range tq but not the Hooker.

Most people get monsterous torque with the blowers, are you intercooled? What size injectors?

Its still enough to be a very fun car, but most blower guys do seem to claim higher numbers.

Sorry, I meant 325 but not at the wheels. And if you think that is bull**** just look up the stats on a 93-97 Camaro. 285hp and 325 tq.

So with drivetrain loss from an A4, I should be near 480 HP at the crank.

I would think it would be about 450-460. That sounds pretty close.

When talking about HP and TQ you dont use the flywheel estimated power. You use RWHP and RWTQ. 285-325 is very misleading. Try saying 230 RWHP and 260 RWTQ and yes that would be true what a bone stock LT1 makes.
