You asked the wrong question. You should have asked wether it was worthwhile to try . A lot of porter like the 2.00/1.56 valves in these castings. I have to go with Brett on this one, show some real proof. EVERY reputable head porter will tell you there is more too things than just flow anyway. Flow numbers are a hell of a sales tool though.

Re: Need cam advice for Stroker...

Hello,
These are cylinder heads that I ported for Matt. I know everyone is a skeptic about it, and thats fine by me. I really don't know why it's so hard to believe though. The exhaust numbers where flowed using a 1 3/4" upswept pipe so the exhaust number of course are a little higher than without a pipe.I am stopping production on these castings due to financial reasons, but they will and do flow the numbers posted.I have many other packages available, but I am not a sponsor on here anymore, so I cannot discuss them. Matt, for your car as I said before, if you are going to daily drive the car and it is an auto. I would run a custom grind of mine for those heads that are out now, but will be ending shortly because of production stopping on the heads. The specs are 246*/248* .608"/.611" with a 111 LSA. I will not reply to this thread anymore as I don't want to sit here an argue with a bunch of people I dont know and who don't know me, it's pointless and will accomplish nothing. If Matt is willing to send one of his heads to Brett for flow testing, great, if not thats fine by me as well. Take care guy's and please, next time just give the guy a cam suggestion and don't turn this into a flame war.

Doesn't matter much to me b/c I already have LE2 heads in the work, but before arguing anything I'd like to see what these thing would actually put out at the track.. these flow # bench races are getting old.

This guy sells a buncha 300+cfm LT1 heads, then states that he's stopping production.

Sounds like another Pro Performance scenario.

That's not going to happen with an LT1 casting without serious handporting hours in them. I know that Phil from Advanced Induction had a set close to 300cfm with no welding and still maintained great velocity, but he had a ****LOAD (100+ if I remember correctly) of handporting hours into perfecting them. He'll tell you straight up that his typical ported LT1 heads flow a TRUE 270-280ish cfm, but always dyno 400+ rwhp on the stock bottom end through a 6-speed and make massive low-mid end.

Carter,

Why would you not produce heads like this? That doesnt make any sense

BTW You don't need a 246 deg cam to make power....
