Oem stud size is 3/8. I went with the 1.7 RRs on an oem cam... beehive ovate springs and left me with plenty of room to increase cam size. I swapped the 3/8 studs with 7/16. I am happy with the convo.. Excellent Vacum/idle quality with plenty of low end torque. I purchased an oem stock air filter cause my old one is so dirty you cant see light through it.. as soon as I change it I will log a WOT run and compare the readings with those when she was all stock.

I did one WOT with the dirty filter and she gained an additonal 30 grams per second of air at the MAF... with a clean filter and a CAI ... I bet it will be a sweet gain from the Stock Baseline.

If you swap studs dont forget to use Red Thread Locker and torque the new studs to spec.... I dont have my notes but I think it was like 50 foot lbs ... check it out first.. I dont trust my memory..

Oh I forgot... I went with scorpion roller rockers... I got my OEM valve covers on and I didnt have to massage them to make them fit...

The only other thing you might consider is if you are going to use the stock valve covers. They make slimmer body rockers that work well with center bolt valve covers. You can also modify your stock valve covers or buy new ones that work with the wider rockers also.
