Need Advice quick!!!

I started ripping off the manifolds on my Z this afternoon and hit a roadblock. The number 5 bolt on the manifold right before the the end goes into the y- pipe is having a hard time coming out.. And its a pain to get a socket on.. Any advice on how to get this bolt out.. For those who have installed headers im sure you know the bolt that i am talking about on the drivers side manifold. Any advice or input is greatly appreciated.. Thanks guys...

We actually ended up cutting it off with an angled die grinder. Not sure if that helps you situation or not. Also, if theres room try using an offset wrench. We didn't try that and always wondered if it would have worked.

The drivers side manifold shouldn't be that hard. I've done headers twice (96 and 93). You're going to have to be creative with swivels, extensions, open end wrenches and sometimes you just have to force your hands in there. Some bolts are easier from the bottom than the top. My biggest problem has always been pulling out the dipstick.

I just used a 1/4 inch(i think, the small one anyways) drive ratchet and pulled with all my might...lol, ended up busting my hand when it did come loose but thats all part of it.

Good luck
