Ok im in the market for a new set-up and need advice. For one i will be using stock heads maybe some minor porting but i need to see what kind of money i have to play with, im hoping to hit around 330ish at the rears and to have a sloid torque climb. I will also be running a little nitrous (100-150 at the most). I want somehting thats more agressive the the lt4 hotcam but still retain some good street manners sort of (doesnt need to pass emissons and gas mileage doesnt matter). So what kidn of choices am i looking at and what kind of money am i going to be lookign at? I have a budget of around 800 and have most valvetrain parts. Thanks for any help.

 

I would not think you need much of a cam to hit 330. If you want
to pass emmissions you should stay below a 224/230. You should
be able to hit 330 with a 210/224 or hot cam plus good headers.
