could someone tell me where the safe point from detonation is with an LT1 engine with just head and cam upgrade and headers? how many passes will it take before the engine blows? these are stock pistons and lower end..what is the best shot for this engine? i appreciate it if someone can help me, thanks

 

A 100 shot is safe. Pull 4*of timing with a retard box and use the correct fuel pill. Also put a low fuel pressure shutoff switch on it.
