My "New engine wont start" thread!
I know ive been all over this thread and tried almost everything.
I took apart my old oil pressure unit and found the plug under that stupid rubber thing. It plugs up to the 95 so i tired that. Key on it is at 0, when i try to start it i jumps to all the way up.
so i tried to flash the ecu again, now insted of flash.......pause....flash ,flash. Its flash...pause.....flash,flash,flash,flash,flash. ??????????????

If and that's a big IF, that is a 15, it may be an ECT wire/connection problem. High voltage/high resistance/ low temp indication is indicative of loss of signal due to broken wire or bad connection. HOWEVER, that will not keep it from starting.
Keep this chart from Rob handy.

Sorry but you're gona have to get a fuel pressure gage. Wouldn't 50 bucks for a gage make more sense then quite a bit more for a pump AND the work to put it in only to find out it's something else.
Did you allow the flash pattern to repeat?
Let's discuss the jumping of the fuel pump prime connector for a minute. Let's suppose you did that and the pump is shot and shut down. Yeah that might indicate the pump is bad but it may also point to something in addition to a bad pump. Since simply turning the key did not start the pump, (if jumping actualy did) then the PCM is not commanding the fuel pump on. There could be reasons for that as well.

I don't know specifically about the 93, but on 94 and up, there is no connection from the oil pressure switch to the fuel pump relay, nor is there any connection frmo the oil pressure sensor to the PCM.
Im new to the whole flash patter thing. But i will read more.
I it acts like something is turning off the pump.
When the engine cut off , i checked the schrader valve and there was very little pressure

I will be an issue because it won't keep fuel pressure without oil pressure. Just take a small jumper wire and cross out the two terminals in the oil pressure switch plug on your harness. You should hear the fuel pump run as soon as you do this.
We need that schematic!!!!!
Since we have no-one with a 93 shop manual, we ask you to provide the page that shows that in the schematic please.
I got the new oil pressure switch and am going to install it now.
I also have the fuel pressure gauge i borrowed from a friend
And stock ing.
I installed the oil pressure switch primed the pump and it purrrs like a kitten.
The oil pressure switch on the 93 fixed the no fuel pressure issue.
Thanks all who helped you have no idea how much money and time you saved me.

You keep saying that it will start up and then shut off. You also stated that the motor was removed. Is the ground wire for the engine grounded? If not the car will start up and then die after a little bit, but if you have your foot on the gas it will run until you let off the gas.
