My horn doesnt work...
My horn doesnt work...
OK, heres the deal, my horn doesnt work, it just clicks and the voltmeter goes down on the dash when i do it. Do you think this a problem, the kid before me pulled out the stock alarm because it kept going off so there is two wires just sticking out. How can I fix this? Thanks
that's weird. have you checked the obvious fuse to see if that's broken? if the fuse popped your cigarette lighter won't work either.
Perhaps those two bare wires under the hood just wire straight into the horn?

I know somewhat about a electricity. I checked the fuse and it was fine. You can hear it short-out in or behidn the driver side firewall.
Do Z28s come with the alarm feature? It is on the drivers side in the engine bay. He ripped it out (literally) and now there is a red and a black wire just hanging there. What should I do?

I had this problem when I first got my z28 too. I tried a bunch of stuff then finally I found a way to get it working. Open your door, get in, and if you look at your steering wheel, in the middle there's an area where the airbag is. there are 2 little indintations of horns, if you press on them slightly your horn should blow.
