You have you retoruqed the header bolts and checked the collectors to see if they leak? Look for blackish-brownish soot around your headers to see if they are leaking. Btw who installed your headers?

to check for leaks, let it get warmed up, and then CAREFULLY try to feel around the primary tubes for a blast of air. Watch where you put your fingers, or you will get burned on the hot tubes. If you can't get your fingers in, try using a piece of paper to feel for the blast of escaping air.

sounds like a good idea, will the air coming out from the leak strong, or just a breeze??

Well the car willbe idling so it'll be a light...don't expect a cyclone to hit your fingers.

Brad - Did you sell off your stock heads?

I have the same headers (TES), same white stuff around the collecters, and the engine doesn't sound healthy...Lotsa popping, and turbulance...maybe its due to the high flow cat, and "slowmaster" muff, but I'd like some opinions as well...TTT
