Why do we even answer these things?????

 

In my case, it's because I have a very rare week off with nothing else to do besides pull codes and possibly replace my opti, and cut a few trees down..and I'm out of trees...

 

I am not bashing pcmforless. I am sharing my experience w/ them. The 1st time I purchased a brand new chip for $156 shipped and they provided good comunication and quick shipping. This time I did not like the way I was treated. I don't care if I am banned from doing business w/ them because the car is already getting tuned today by a local tuner.

 

When someone joins a message board and the first post they make is a 'sharing' of experience it certainly comes across as bashing. And, re-reading your first post, I think you were bashing them AND LS1tech. But, hey, it's a free country and if you want to do this then who am I to say stop? By the way, I prefer to keep my business just that, my business....but that's just me.

Thanks, you to. btw I dropped my car off last night for tuning and its already ready for pick up, so I'm actually gonna have a great afternoon. That's some quick and excellent service right there. Now I gotta get the car on a dyno and see what its making on the new setup.

 

Wait... you dropped it off to have it tuned... but you haven't had it on a dyno?

ALL the reputable tuners around here tune on a dyno, a few do street tunes, but those are after being tuned on a dyno for driveability adjustments.

 

If you have questions about this method you can contact Shon at Herron Performance. He isn't the person that tuned my car but he is well informed. And if you don't know who he is he use to hold the title for fastest stock internal, bolton m6 lt1 that he tuned himself.
