My Eradispeeds CAN'T be warped!!!

So what would cause my car to shake as I apply the brakes???
I've tested stopping with my e-brake... it's smooth...
when I use the pedal though, the whole car shakes???
But not everytime!!
Could it be uneven brakepad wear??? My chipped rear wheel??
What about something like the ABS module malfunctioning?? (even though the ABS light doesn't come on???)
Thanks for the help!!!

Who says they cant be warped?I bet the front ones are. With the E-brake you are only using the rears. The front ones are more prone to warp because they do the majority of the stopping.

I'm just really hoping they're not!! They have 10,000km on them, and went through the proper break-in procedure... and have never been used hard!!!!!

and they can't be turned.. but do have a gaurantee..
wouldn't they shake ALL the time if they were warped??

Do you feel the pedal pulsating when braking?Could also be a worn ball joint or tie rod end.

Can't be turned?!?! Even Cross drilled and slotted rotors can be turned.

Yes, your rotors are warped.

You need to look very closedly at the calipers. Before I upgraded to LS1 brakes my rotors warped every 10k mi. The slide bolts in the LT1 caliper bind WAY to easily. Get you rotors turned by someone who knows how to deal with drilled/slotted rotors. Replace your calipers. Even then make sure the slide bolts slide smoothly.

My $.02

Humm.. I wonder if that's the case??
I should have mentioned, I've done the LS1 brake upgrade as well...
everything went smoothly...
Since these eradispeeds have a limited 'lifetime' warranty against warping, I should just get 'em checked out and exchanged.....
The vibrations only occur occasionally, which I why I was curious if the rotors actually were warped??..

Is it worse when you stop from highway speeds? I just went through this with stock LS1 rotors on my LT1. I've got the cheapo Autozone ones now--so far so good.

Yeah... much worse
sure sounds like warpage, eh? ;-)
If I'm going 90mph, and slow a little, I usually shake quite a bit..
if I'm going 30mph sometimes I shake, sometimes it's smooth....
