Question Does anyone make two-piece rear rotors?

I'm doing a front brake conversion on my 95 Formula, and would like to use two piece rotors all the way around. I've found them for the front -- Eradispeeds and "standard" Baer two-piece rotors (I was told the only difference between the Eradispeeds and the Baer standards is that Eradispeeds comes with all the options -- cross-drilled, slotted and zinc plated).

But I haven't been able to find the two-piece rotors for the rear in the stock size for 94-97 F-bodies. Does anyone know of a manufacturer?

I know that I don't need two piece rotors, but I want them

The Wilwood kit for the rear has a 2 piece rotor. The hat functions the same for the parking brake but you need some additional hardware.

I've looked at several aftermarket rear brake kits, but I don't think there's any real gain to be had changing them. I've had several leads on two-piece rotors, but nothing has panned out so far. The big three -- Wilwood, Baer and Brembo don't make them, so I've turned to a couple of smaller companies (some of which are using custom Wilwood rotors) but haven't heard anything back yet. I'm guessing that I will either come up empty, or it will be waaaaay too cost prohibitive to pull it off. So I guess the next thing I need to do is find a decent looking, good performing set of one-piece rotors.

What's everyone's thoughts on the Powerslots? I've heard mixed reviews, so I'm unsure.

Initially, I'll probably just use the stock C5 rotors for the front, and keep the GTRotors I already have on the back. I may bead blast them and hit them with a coat of paint so they at least look semi-decent. The gold color of the GTRotors has driven me nuts forever!

For starters, you spell your name wrong!!!!

I've been using Powerslots in the rear for several years. I'm currently using full race pads and I only use my car for road racing. So far, no problems. They are zinc coated, and they still look brand new. I would only use Powerslots on the rear brakes, because they don't take as much abuse as the fronts. I'm buying 2 piece Eradispeed rotors for the front. I hope they last longer than the original 13" rotors that came with the Baer Track kit.

Or you could try KVR rotors. Check out this website: http://www.fasttoys.net/9398fbodyframes.html
