ANyone know how to fix this problem, its nothing major, not effectiving driveabilty or nothing, i just wat it cured. It just puffs a little black smoke at high rpm. Can anyone tell me what to do to stop it?

 

The stock LT1 programming tends to be "rich" on the top end, typically setting a target A/F ratio in the range of 11.7-11.9:1. That shouldn't be rich enough to produce black smoke, but the condition can be made worse by things which cause the PCM to incorrectly richen the mixture.... including things like exhaust leaks and misfires. Have you ever had the PCM scanned, particularly for long term fuel correction values, and O2 sensor readings at WOT?
