So this morning I was testing out the Z in teh cool weather when all of a sudden it fell flat on its face and the rpms dropped to 500 and then cut off. I have fuel and im about to go check for spark but i need ot know how you single out the opti instead of the coil?

 

ok i have no spark at the plug so how do i check to see if its the coil or the opti? can i pull the wire from the opti to see if the coil is sending any spark?

 

i checked now that i have help and the coil is sparking.

 

got the opti off and it rattles so looks like a new opti for me... only 15-20k on the damn thing too
