My car is dead...
I just got back home today after four months away to find that my car doesn't run. It was on a trickle charger for four months while I was away. It was driven once about 20 miles in mid October and was put back in the garage. The trickle charger was used correctly until 2 weeks ago...
The car was taken out of the garage without the latest charge. It started fine, but started to stumble hard before it stalled out. The car could not be restarted.
I just got into town today to look at it. The battery level was very low, so I used booster cables to try to start the car. It tried turning over, but was stumbling very hard. The battery power seemed fine hooked up to the boost battery. I tried again, same thing, it even had a small back fire. So I gave up, the battery was reading at an ideal level at this time. I noticed the gas guage is near empty.
Is it possible the little amount of gas went bad and this is why it won't run?? What else could it be? I gave a quick look at the wires and plugs, all seems fine, as is the oil level. I found no loose wires or sensors either. I want to take it to a mechanic ASAP if I can't fix it tomorrow. Thanks.

i would fill your tank up to dilute the possibly bad gas, turn the car over for awhile to flush the bad gas through your lines, and then if its still busted you will most likely need a plug change. i had a bike that had the same problem, just loaded up the plugs with the old gas and when the fresh gas and plugs were in there it fired right up.
