Ok, ive been trying everything. None of the wires are burnt. It idles up and down and it stumbles. It only does this when it heats up. The weird thing is that once i go WOT it does not stumble PLease help. Im tempted to take my friends offer and trade my car for his 2001 hayabusa

 

Is your service engine soon light on?? Maybe your o2 sensors are bad or opti spark is bad.

 

Just a guess, but it sounds like a o2 to me. Try unpluging the o2's and see if it runs better.

BTW, the drivers side O2 is pretty new. THe passenger side is real old.

 

I ran mine with NO o2's for a week while I had the x-pipe out.

 

The computer will preset the air/fuel ratio without the o2s being pluged in.

 

My SES light did come on but i for some reason cant pull the plugs. Also, how do u test the opti? In the Haynes manual it says something about testing it i just forgot how. I dont think its the opti because why would it be ok at WOT.

it's the o2 or the M.A.P. sensor. these are sensors that commonly go out on most GM's. your MAP will cost around $30 stock. the o2 is around $20 stock. if this only happens in idle, it's the o2. if it does it partially while driving, it's the MAP or a combo of both.

 

the IAC (idle air control) is something to check too... unplug it while its acting up and see if it gets better or no change.

 

My car used to act funny when it warmed up and it turned out it was because when it warmed up the wp would start dripping water right on the opti. new wp. fine ever since.
