My Camaro's Story, and Why It's Mine.

So my mom has kept my Grandpas '95 Z28 since he past away from a heart attack in 2001. He left behind two gas stations and the Camaro to my family, he was a great man and my best friend. He bought the car and traded in his 427 Stingray 'Vette because it didn't have enough room for me as a baby. Last year when I got my license my mom told me the car was mine because that was what my Grandpa always wanted. The cars LT1 is in great shape and runs awesome. The only things we've had to do is replace some hoses and a water pump. The interior is in rough shape but is getting replaced this winter along with a new convertible top. My goal is to get this car into pod shape and hold onto it forever. Personally I want to add a little bite and bark to it, I was thinking about a new exhaust and CAI. I don't know what parts would e the best to buy to get power, and on a budget. I do have a job and make solid money for a 17 year old. Any advice or help would be massively appreciated. Thank you for reading and give any advice you can, thanks again.

Re: My Camaro's Story, and Why It's Mine.

CAI: 5 - 20 hp K&N is pretty good/popular
Exhaust: 10-20 hp Magnaflow catback. Lots of people frown on flowmaster.
Maybe some LT headers? Pacesetter on ebay. Another 10-20 hp??

Then throw in a 160 thermostat and get it tuned by pcmforless, madz28, or various others. Or tune yourself.... another 10-30 hp there probably.

LT4 Hotcam or various other cams will also wake that lt1 up with upgraded springs and 1.6 RR and/or hardened pushrods if you go NSA or SA
