well if you are still running the stock shifter then i would definatley get a short throw shifter. otherwise i say suspension stuff, maybe lowering springs or sub frame connectors. maybe a hypertech and 160 degree thermostat.

get a good set of headers... some coated shortys shouldn't set you back too much $$$... and the power gains/sound will be worth it

The shorty headers aren't that bad to install. You don't have to jack the engine or pull the steering shaft or anything....just a little TLC. Most everyone notices a huge gain with even shorties...I did.

Well happy birthday. I will probably just get money because nobody ever knows what to get me. But i have no problem with getting money. I'm gonna start pricing out some shorties then. I want to take my car to the track before i install some headers because i wanna see what i'll run with just a catback and cai. So i'll probably a short throw shifter installed before i go. More and likely i'll go with the pro 5.0. Besides my friend just got a 95 mustang gt. I don't wanna be smoking him to bad. It's a convertable so he already has some catching up to do.

Weld on subframe connectors would be your best bet, they greatly improve handling. Weld-on subframes are a must for our cars.

I was looking at those also. I was looking at the bmr sfc's. But then i seen the double diamond sfc's. Which one's are better? I would think the dd would be better but i heard you can't use certain things with them.

The double diamond SFC's are great, have the most rigidity. You can't go wrong with BMR's or LGMotorsports, RKSports has the Kenny Brown DD SFC's, they're very good ones. Whatever you get, just don't get the bolt on ones, SFC's work best when they are welded on.
