my comp T/As could barely hold grip on my stock LT1 w/4.10s... any clutch though and theyd be smoking.

As for my new F1s... they lite right up with no effort in first and chirp good in second.

I was running 275 nittos on the street most of last summer, I threw the Bridgestone/salad shooter combo back on last weekend cause I was making a decent trip to have some relo brackets welded in, talk about NO TRACTION.
I have decided I need to run at least a DR all the time.........spinning into third sucks.

Cool

I have a set of nittos that are mounted on 2000 trans am wheels. When I mounted them on and took the car out for a drive, the traction was awesome. I can really feel the car launch on the street, and usually the 1-2 shift would chirp the tires, with the nittos it doesn't chirp but you can really feel the car shifting and you can feel the front end lift up. Not a huge lift but you notice it alittle. And on the track they also grip good, the only thing that I have learn when I posted about the nittos was you have to really get them warmed up. When doing test I think 5-7 second burn out helps out and on 20 psi. I haven't done too much test but I am thinking about trying to put them on 18 psi and do a 10 sec burn out and see how that goes. I am going to be getting a 2800 stall so hopefully with that 1.6rrs and the rest of my mods I should be able to hit the 12s.
