My BFG's are on!!

2 salad shooter wheels - FREE
mounting/balancing - FREE (done by myself)
Tires - $283 shipped from www.tbyrne.com

These tires grip so freakin AWESOME! I can't even chirp them! I did about 3-4 launches in an empty parking lot, no chirp or anything, car just jumped straight ahead. I've never experienced the 1st gear torque because if I did that on my street tires, they would just light up and I'd go sideways. I have them at 20 psi now.

My friend Javier97Z28 cut a 1.66 second 60' time on Nittos, so that should answer your question. As far as I know, the BFG's are a little stickier but not as streetable, and will wear out much faster. I went with BFG's because I'm only using them for the track.

Nice, I'm still debating switching to them from my Dunlop Sports 5000s. I guess I would feel bad just discarding two expensive *** street tires, considering i just bought them last spring

I know how you feel.....that's why I got 2 spare rims, and had them mounted on them so I can just swap them out on track day.

you can discard them my way my frame was messed up and in turn I had to keep rotating my tires. Long story short, need new tires!!

The stock rear isn't bad when you're running 13s in an A4.

I have 3.73s too......they chirped tonight when the air was a little cooler, but nothing worth mentioning. This afternoon it was about 75-80 degrees and sunny. Usually I can smoke the tires without even touching the brake, so these are a HUGE improvement. Personally, I wouldn't put drag radials on an M6 car. If you don't pop the clutch above 3k you should be okay though.
