bearing replacement

did a search on this, didn't help much. I'm wondering if it is possible to replace the engine bearings without pulling the motor providing the heads, cam, oil pan, intake manifold, and headers are removed. Any info will help. thanks

i think that it is possible but it woul dbe easier to pull the motor because you have to pull all the stuff anyways better to have lots of room to work with you know.

If youre just replasing bearings you can support the car at the sway bar mount area , after it is removed. and while supporting the motor , lower the K member (with MM undone) enough to remove the oil pan , you can then replace the rod bearings in this manner, but if the Mains need replaced I would recomend pulling it. cause you'll have to unbolt the tranny then.
