it has the subwoofer and everything. Sounds great. My boss has a '99 SS with the factory Monsoon system. Which is the better sound system? I never heard his, btw, he took it out and put something else in there.

Oh, he wants to sell it to me. Heh. I just wanna know if it would be a good idea to put it in. I am completely satisfied with the factory system though.

I personally think the Bose sounds better than the Monsoon system...it can actually run louder and clearer from what I've heard...

If you are satisfied with yours dont change it, trust me the Bose is damn good for stock. I have it, I love it, dont change a stock one for a stock one. If you are upgrading, get a aftermarket head unit and all new speakers and woofer. Bose makes good stuff, stick with the stock or you are just wasting cash. Plus I have heard both, and Bose is better IMO. Use the cash for CAI/ Catback or Headers.

Cool. I'll probably just leave the factory stuff in there. Sounds damn good. I wanna get Hooker Catback exhaust, but we'll see.

I STRONGLY Recommend a Stainless Steel catback, they will last much longer and not break. Others might not show rust on the outside but rust badly from the inside out. I like GMMG/Magnaflow/B&B. I cant think of anyother ones right now that I think are in my top 5...Good luck with the Camaro and do your research.

Appreciate the help. The number one thing I want is peformance gain that doesn't cut any top end mph off. And I really like the way the factory exhaust sounds. Thanks for any further help.
