I'm thinking of taking the complete drivetrain out of my 94 formula and swapping it into a 96 v-6 firebird with a blown engine. I got this bright idea because my car needs alot of cosmetic work and I found a v-6 bird that basically perfect for a good price.
Is this a pretty easy thing to do or am I going to run into wiring issues because of trying to put an obd1 LT1 into a obd2 v6 car? I'm hoping to just drop the whole engine/computer/tranny/k-member as a unit and replace the v-6 firebirds drivetrain. I assume I will need to take the rear end and donate it to the new car as well. What kinds of compatibility problems are likely to come up in this project?
