A couple of days ago we did a massive engine swap on my 94 trans am. Put in a 355. Everything has been running smoothly the pass couple of days except for the idle issue but im working on that.

Anyway, today just out of the blue it wouldn't start. It has started all week fine. I can hear the fuel pump come on and the injectors click on. So its getting fuel (i think, won't know for sure until I check the pressure). Anyway, it turns over, so im assuming its not the starter, but its just not getting fire at all. I didn't take the time to take the coil wire off, but im pretty sure its not getting fire. I checked all the fuses I could.

Anyone got a list of things I should check for? It could be 9000 things but I think my optispark might of went out but im not sure.

 

Why you think it might be the opti? Check for spark since you think the fuel is coming from the pump. The car crank over but not start seem like the ignition module, it happen to me before.

if the ICM is bad, would spark ti'll possibly come out the coil?

I might replace the coil and ICM then.
