hey guys....5.0 guy here thinking about buying a 97LT1 M6 WS6 Firebird....the question i have for you guys is what can i expect to run stock in the 1/4 w/this thing??? ive heard they range from mid 14's to middle 13's.....and what is the factory HP/TQ on these models w/the WS6 package??? thanks

 

expect high 13's to mid 13's, hp rating is probably going to be around 255-265 rwhp with the 6 speed. A friend of mine in my car club has a 96 TA WS6, he probably would know more about it...

 

Rated is 305 Hp flywheel... I ran a 13.7 @ 102.28 with no traction, with my only mods being a cutout, line lock, and CSI Waterpump.

 

Mine is an automatic, but with just a muffler and K&N filter it ran 13.83@100.83, so an M6 is going to be a tad faster. 97Formula is correct, the factory rating is 305hp, I got 255hp/289tq to the wheels on mine before mods began.
