Yeah, for $250 it seems like it'd be more of a pain than any good.. I guess i'll have myself $150 and just have a shop make me one.. Oh well

I have been reading that it seems that more M6 guys have problems with the Mufflex than A4 folks do.

look at the crossmember

http://anasazi.sytes.net/longtubes/install/KIF_0002.jpg

the mufflex y-pipe doesn't clear it at all... you gotta grind it off AND smash the top in with a hammer and it STILL hits the bolt

i don't have any current pictures of the mufflex installed, but believe me, its about 1.5 inches of clearance

Yeah that is what I heard, that the 6 speed guys have trbl with the pipe. The auto guys have no problem what so ever.

Wish there sa a place around where I live to get one custom made. I highly doubt there will be any place close to cmpetent enough to do it. I just hate the fact of grining on the tranny crossmember

Oh well, ,maybe jet hots y will be a better fit.

ahh, its not that bad Jason, I can do it for you if you want

I had a concern about the Jet Hots collectors compared to the Hooker LT collectors, it seems that the collectors on the Jet Hots are angled slightly more upwards, which will make it darn near impossible to fit a 3 inch mufflex Y pipe...?

What's the part number for the Flowmaster 3" into 4" y collector that Mufflex uses on their y-pipe? (and who has the best price on it?)
