Question Mufflex Y pipe leaking in several spot?

I have Hooker LT and aMufflex Y pipe. I have tightened the clamps down to the point where they may brake if I go tighter. The Y pipe is still leaking in several spots. Has anyone found some clamps other than the ones that came with the Y pipe to seal it up right? I have adjusted the Ytwice but the clamps seam to be the weakest link. I'd like to buy some new clamps as long as I know they will work. No need to waste $8.00 per clamp if they don't work.
My Pass side o2 bung has a built up of carbon where it is leaking a little. I don't want to mess with it but I may have to send them back to get fixed and recoated.
