muffler for the lt1

whats the best sounding muffler for the lt1, just getting suggestions thanks

Most people will do a complete "cat back" rather than just replace the muffler. It provides a more significant power gain.

Hard to tell what sounds the "best", since everyone has a different idea of what sounds good.... totally subjective.

Depends on the type of sound you are looking for..... Each cat-back system has its own distinct sound..

Search the forum, there are a few threads with cat-back sounds....

I personally like the Hooker Aerochamber.... Quiet at cruising speeds... Nice tone at WOT...

I have a Borla and I love the adjustability to change the sound. I also just heard the Magnaflow and thats a nice sounding system, too. And for the price its a great deal...Something like $350 for a complete stainless cat back is a great price, seeing as Borlas run around $700...

to start i would go with cut out. cheap and powerful for the $$$. plus you can change from scary loud to stock. all with 3 little wingnuts

I have the SLP TOTL with Edelbrock Headers and it sounds amazing!!
