MSD wires question

I recieved my new set of MSD's 8.5. I got 9 wires plus 1 for the coil. But all are different lengths. Is it just simple as match to the original length? Where would the longest go?

the longest goes to # 8 because of routing..... Then they start getting shorter.... there should have been two coil wires in the kit... Atleast mine came that way...

If they are custom fit for LT1s the longest go to the farthest back plugs ie #7 and #8. The passanger side requires slightly more length than the driver's side due to routing around the PS pump. So if custom LT1 wires....match to original length. That easy. I cut and crimped my own Taylor wires so thats as much advice as I can give. HTH and good luck.

I also got 2 coil wires.
You don,t mention if you have headers or not.
I have Hooker LTs and for me the two longest ones I used on 5 and 7 cause I ran them over the valve cover and 6 and 8 I ran under the motor mount so they did not need to be as long.
If you don,t have headers then just match up the old wires and replace.
