MSD 6A Ignition

Did this come stock on my car? I'm going to guess no. Under my hood on the plastic thing over my radiator it has a sticker that says "This car is equipped with a MSD 6A Ignition for legal sale in California." Or something like that. Is this normal or?

Definitely not stock. Some aftermarket parts come with stickers identifying them as being certified for use by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and containing the CARB-EO emissions exemption number. That number is generally accepted as an indication of emissions compliance by many other states. I got a CARB sticker with my NOS 5176-EO nitrous kit. Pretty sure my MSD-6A came with one.

Yes and I noticed it has a Granetelli (however you spell it) MAF Sensor, knew that wasn't stock. Is it a good ignition module?
