i'm prepping the car for a turbo setup with intercooler. so i'm moving the battery to the rear and removing the coolant bottle to run the pressure tube up to the tb.

is it ok to run with no bottle or do you need to add one in somehow?

You need it because when coolant expands and contracts as it is heatsed and cooled it has to have somewhere to go.
