Ok guys i bought the engery suspension mount at advance auto parts for my transmission, And i just replaced the motor mount on the passanger side with a rubber one the old one was broken in two, now when i punch it it feels like the trany is going to come through the floorboard, Do i need to hack the trany mount down alittle and by the way i do not have the plate on the trany mount i did not put that on. how do i align the pinion angle up with the rearend

Seems odd.... with my M6, the ES mount held the tranny rock solid, eliminating the bouncing shifter. I used the metal plate.

To adjust the pinion angle, you need an adjustable aftermarket torque arm.

I would think you should replace both engine mounts as a set and not just one. Having one new and one highly aged rubber engine mount may contribute to the problems you are experiencing.

so the energy suspenion tranny mounts work good on 4l60e's or do they need to be gapped like they do on v6 models?
